sup everyone! sorry for the long hiatus, just been busy with a few things and still tryin' to get connected at my new place.

probably the most important news is the birth of my nephew: reese kazuo yamaguchi weighing in @ 7lbs.9oz. and 20".

fantasy football season has started and i'm currently losing my matchup to tri (i only had 1 guy play so far) but we shall see how the season goes. i finally got a top 3 rb for the first time. am a little weak @ qb but that's ok, will do the whole matchup thing for that.

usa men's bball only gets a bronze. WTF!?! just goes to show how important the "team" aspect is. not sure why redd & bowen were cut...

princess kiko had a baby boy. that was pretty much the whole news a couple of days ago. every single channel was talkin' bout it. really don't want to go into the political/social issues dealing with this...it makes my head hurt...

dumars, wilkins & barkely were inducted into the hall of fame. i grew up watching all these guys in their prime. i must say that there is no question that they deserved this honor.
dumars: great 2 guard during the pistons back-to-back championship run; one of the few guys who could contain jordan; unorthodox feet position while shooting.
wilkins: the human highlight film; brought it everynite with power; best known for the double windmill slam; 2-time slam dunk champ (when the slam dunk contest was exciting; not this dumb take as many tries as you like contest)
barkley: never won a championship but totally deserved one; 16 yr averages: 22pts/12boards; the most dominating 6'5" power forward ever with a mouth to match.
